 Congress leader Rahul Gandhi would be both amused and surprised to know that Rakhi Sawant has a soft corner for him. She admits her liking for Rahul Gandhi in a recent interview. However, she did not elaborate the reasons for her liking for him. And she is all praise for Raj Thackray also. According to her, she respects Raj a lot for his job and his help towards the poor, and also considers him as a brother, while she also admires his conduct. And as this is not enough,she readily accepts to tie the Rakhi on Thackray wrist if he wishes to, but denies the plan to join the politics. For item girl, doesn’t understand the politics, and consider to continue the same proffession as an artist. She loves to entertain people and continue to do so. 2011 was a dull year for Rakhi Sawant, expect she had only one TV show “Ghazab Desh Ki Ajab Kahaaniya” to accompany, and the last item number she was looked to perform was in the flicks “Rakhtbeej” and “Loot”. |

Oosthuizen triumphant in South AfricaLouis Oosthuizen won the Africa Open by two shots from fellow South African Tjaart van der Walt in East London. The two players shared the overnight lead, but a six-under-par round of 67 gave defending champion Oosthuizen the title. The former Open champion birdied the par-three 17th, Van der Walt making bogey at the same hole, to settle the tussle. Oosthuizen shot an eagle, six birdies and two bogeys today to finish with a four-round total of 25 under par. Van der Walt started the final day impressively with birdies in his first three holes, but he picked up only two more birdies and a bogey to go round in 69. Retief Goosen finished in third place, three shots off the lead on 24 under, after he also finished with a 69. Goosen carded a birdie and an eagle in his opening three holes, but his challenge faded and he picked up just two more birdies and a bogey. A fourth South African, Jaco van Zyl, finished fourth on 23 under, while Scotland’s Alastair Forsyth was fifth one shot further back after a closing round of 67. England’s Danny Willett could only manage a 73 to lie seventh on 19 under. |
