Salman Khan’s birthday cake had a shirtless man

Salman Khan turned 46 on Tuesday and partied with friends and family at his farmhouse.

Actress Sneha Ullal who debuted opposite Salman Khan in the film Lucky: No Time For Love was invited to the party but couldn’t visit. However, she did share an image of Salman Khan’s cute birthday cake, presumably sent to her by someone at the party.

The cake has a shirtless man, pulling weights. And there are the goodies of Salman Khan’s Being Human charity.

“Check out Salman’s cake.super cute,” Sneha Ullal posted this image on her Twitter page.

Misbah: Why do India oppose DRS?

Misbah: Why do India oppose DRS?

Misbah-ul-Haq has voiced his surprise over the continued opposition from the Board of Control for Cricket in India to the full implementation of the Decision Review System (DRS).

“It is beyond me as to why the Indians oppose the DRS all the time. It is a modern technology that is not harming the sport. It is in its infant stages and can be made more productive with time,” Misbah told reporters in Lahore.

Indian players and the BCCI have opposed the use of the DRS in their ongoing series in Australia as they feel that the technology has many flaws. They have also rejected moves to have it for their One-day tri-series against Australia and Sri Lanka to be held in February in Australia.

In contrast, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) will have it for the Test and One-day series in the United Arab Emirates, starting from next month.

“I support the DRS because it does give that chance to the players and umpires to rectify any umpiring errors which at times can be pretty decisive and costly in a match,” Misbah insisted.

“There is no doubt that there is room for improvement in this technology and that will only be worked out if it is implemented consistently in all series,” he added.

Last October, the ICC bowed to India’s wishes and made the DRS optional, four months after saying its use was compulsory.

The ICC’s Executive Board reverted to its original decision of allowing the participating nations in a bilateral series to decide on using the technology.

Under the system, teams are allowed two television reviews per innings if they feel that the on-field umpires have not given the correct decision. But the influential BCCI has constantly opposed even the partial use of the DRS, saying the current technology was not suitable.

Misbah though feels there was nothing wrong with the technology and it has won the approval of most teams and players.

“The cost and technology issues can be worked out but that can only be done if it is used on regular basis and backed by all boards,” he pointed out.

Meanwhile, asked about the continued suspension of bilateral cricketing ties between India and Pakistan, Misbah said this was something the governments and authorities needed to sort out.

“As a player I only know that for me a Indo-Pak series is always special and there are millions of people in both countries eager to see the teams play against each other regularly. I know that due to the current status quo millions of cricket fans are being deprived of some high class cricket contests, which also boost the image of the sport,” he said.

On the issue of the appointment of new coach for the national cricket team, the captain said, “Whosoever the board appoints as permanent coach I am confident I can develop a good working relationship with him for the betterment of the team. I have enjoyed very good working relations with Waqar Younis and Mohsin Khan.

“So I don’t see too many issues in this area.”

The 37-year old Pakistani batsman said he was looking forward to the upcoming series against England as it should be “a closely fought series with quality performers in both teams”.

demi lovato give your heart a break Demi Lovato Appears In
It’s hard to believe that Demi Lovato has only dropped one official single from her album Unbroken in 2011. Dev, her collaborator on purported second single “Who’s That Boy”, entering motherhood probably had something to do with the delay, so that tune was shelved in favor of “Give Your Heart A Break” as Demi’s next single. Today comes the lyric video for the song, but instead of releasing a lyric video filled with just text, Lovato appears in the clip, writing her song’s words in a journal. Watch below.

You might have missed this one over Christmas, but a new image has been released for Stallone’s upcoming action thriller Bullet To The Head, and it goes some way towards answering whether Sly is too old for this shit…

Well, from the looks of that washboard stomach, we’d have to say no! Granted, we’re not sure exactly what the thinking process is behind that constipated facial expression, but in the muscles department, he certainly looks good to go.

A new synopsis has also been released for the film, albeit a fairly brief one. “Based on a graphic novel,” begins the blurb, “Bullet to the Head also tells the story of a New Orleans hitman (Stallone) and a New York City cop who form an alliance to bring down the killers of their respective partners.”

Stallone will be trading body blows with Conan beefcake Jason Momoa, whilst Christian Slater is the pick of the supporting cast. Red Heat helmer Walter Hill will be filling the director’s chair.

We’re hoping Stallone is a little more mobile here than he was in The Expendables, but the man looks at least to be in imposing shape. Bullet To The Head is released in the UK on 13 April 2012.

Will you be going to see this over The Expendables 2? Tell us, below.

Priyanka on her character ‘Kaali’.

Posted: 29 Dec 2011 11:36 AM PST

priyanka1 Priyanka on her character 'Kaali'.

Priyanka Chopra’s role as Kaali is the soul in Agneepath. The actress plays the leading lady opposite Hrithik Roshan in their upcoming flick.

“The best thing about Kaali (her character in the film) is that she is Vijay’s strength. She is the soul, happiness and naughtiness in the film… So to prepare, I had to just follow Karan,”
Said PC at the unveiling of the second look of the film.

Priyanka plays a Maharashtrian girl. However, her character in the film has no resemblance to that of Sweety in “Kaminey”.

“I was playing a Maharashtrian girl for the second time. When Karan Malhotra and I discussed the film, we were very clear that we have to try to keep this character as different as possible from my character of Sweety in ‘Kaminey’ because the personalities of both the girls are different.”

“Karan was very clear-minded about Kaali’s character. So, it was very easy for me,”
Agneepath releases on Jan 26. The film also sees Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor in key roles.
