Kumar Mangat’s shoot With Lavish Song Kumar Mangat Pathak is leaving no stone unturned for his next film Bittoo Boss starring his daughter Amita Pathak and newcomer Pulkit Samrat. Last week they shot for a lavish song ‘Kick Lag Gayi‘ in Chandigarh with 450 to 500 people. Speaking about the song Kumar Mangat says, “Its is the introductory song of the hero, Pulkit in a wedding function where he sees Amita for the first time and he starts singing ‘Tere Naina Nu Jab Dekhya Toh Mainu Kick Lag Gayee‘. The song is shot in Chandigarh with 150 dancers and a crowd of over 300 people in the background” ‘Kick Lag Gayi‘ is composed by Raghav Sachar with lyrics by Kumar. “The song is choreographed by Rekha Chinni Prakash and sung by Raghav Sachar and Master Saleem.”, adds Kumar Mangat. The entire film will be shot in Punjab and has weddings as its backdrop. Pulkit plays a videographer who shoots weddings and Amita plays a rich girl who is more like a happy go lucky girl next door. Talking about debutant Pulkit Samrat, Mangat says, “We had many auditions, conducted workshops, shot some mock scenes and then decided to cast Pulkit. He has done one TV show for Ekta Kapoor before. We have trained him for the past one year and groomed him in the departments of acting, dance and body language.” |

Just when we were all thinking that there was no way the Bond 23 (or should we say Skyfall?) cast could get any classier, Sam Mendes has gone and added Albert Finney to the line-up. According to the Daily Mail‘s Baz Bamigboye (who has pretty good form with these Bond rumours), Finney recently joined the cast for a script reading at Pinewood Studios. The English actor is said to be playing the sizeable role of "a Foreign Office mandarin with powers over the Secret Intelligence Service." It won’t be the first time Finney has crossed paths with a superspy, having appeared in The Bourne Ultimatum as key Treadstone figure Dr Albert Hirsch. He joins what’s possibly the best ever Bond cast, with Ralph Fiennes, Javier Bardem, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw and Helen McCrory all signed on, and Daniel Craig returning as 007 for the third time. With a set of thesps like that, it’s no surprise Mendes is thought to be toning down the action in favour acting for his instalment. Grp J: Schalke vs S. Bucharest PreviewKlaas Jan Huntelaar is determined to lift the spirits of Schalke fans by helping the team secure their place in the Europa League last 32. The Gelsenkirchen giants know a win over Steaua Bucharest at the Veltins Arena will be enough to take them through to the knockout stage from Group J, and the three points would be a real boost following their defeat to bitter Ruhr rivals Borussia Dortmund at the weekend. Huntelaar told www.schalke04.de: “We want to progress to the next round in front of our fans, that would be great, especially since it would mean we could travel for the final group game against Maccabi Haifa knowing we were through. “A victory against Bucharest would also give us strength and confidence for the challenges ahead. “We are all ready and primed for the upcoming tasks. For me personally, I can say that I feel very comfortable and have no problems. Even my nose is fine.” Huntelaar has worn a protective mask after suffering a broken nose earlier this season, and he is set to wear it once more against the Romanians in what would be his 50th appearance in UEFA club competition. Defender Benedikt Howedes was back in training this week following a knee injury but may not be risked yet by Schalke coach Huub Stevens. Both sides have changed coaches since their first meeting on September 15 in Cluj, with Ralf Rangnick having left Schalke within a week of that match and Roni Levy departing Steaua at the end of September, to be replaced by former Steaua player Ilie Stan. Grp E: M. Tel Aviv vs Besiktas PreviewMaccabi Tel Aviv owner Mitch Goldhar insists he will remain patient with coach Moti Ivanir despite the club’s domestic struggles. Maccabi, historically Israel’s most successful club, have lost their last four matches in all competitions and have won just one in seven in their domestic league. Their most recent defeat was an embarrassing 3-1 home loss to city rivals Hapoel at the Bloomfield Stadium, and with their hopes of Europa League progress also hanging by a thread, there is little to cheer Maccabi supporters at the moment. But Canada-based owner Goldhar insists he will not make rash decisions in a bid to bring about change. He told the Jerusalem Post: “We are at the beginning of what I consider to be my investment. “I don’t appraise my investments after such a short period of time. This is something that takes time. What we have been going through lately is difficult but it is also normal. We are all learning. “Discipline, proper attitude, work ethic and lifestyle are all things that need to be inculcated into the culture of Maccabi. “It is part of the long-term best interests of the organisation. I’m confident it will pay dividends. “If we take the season in the right way I will not be disappointed even if we don’t win the championship. The way is more important. The results will come.” Maccabi are bottom of Europa League Group E with one point from four games – five points behind second-placed Besiktas, who beat them 5-1 in Istanbul in the sides’ opening group match. Maccabi have to beat Besiktas then hope that they can also beat Dynamo Kiev away in their final fixture and that Besiktas lose to Stoke in final match. If Maccabi can somehow end with a better head to head record against Besiktas, then they would go through if they won and the Turks only drew against Stoke. Besiktas’ task is simpler – they are through if they can win in Tel Aviv. For the home side, midfielder Rafi Dahan is out with a groin injury while striker Barak Yitzhaki will not feature for personal reasons. Besiktas midfielder Necip Uysal is still sidelined after suffering a deep cut in his leg during a match against Galatasaray.
